World University of Design has commenced its admission process for the academic year 2024. CEED 2024 and UCEED 2024 results for admission in the MDes and design programme is out. The scorecard will be available for download on March 11, 2024, at the official website.
WUD is situated in Sonepat, it offers higher education centring the creative domain. The Haryana Private Universities Act of 2006 created the university, giving it the authority to award degrees in accordance with Sections 2(f) and 22(I) of the UGC Act.
The WUD courses are offered at Diploma, UG and PG levels in the fields of design, architecture, business, fashion, performing arts, visual arts, etc. The courses are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The WUD fees range from Rs 3.60 lakh to Rs 14 lakh. The fees will vary depending on the degree opted for.
In the year 2022, reputed companies like Turian Labs, Icarus 3D, Hermosa Tierra, Ogilvy, etc. hired students. The WUD placement package offered to the students ranges from Rs 4.70 LPA to Rs 12.50 LPA. Internships are also offered by the World University of Design placement department.
The World University of Design course admissions are determined on the basis of previous academic merit and entrance exam scores. The entrance exams accepted are DAT, GAT, AAT, UCEED, JEE Main, NATA, CAT, etc. A PI is also conducted during the final stage of the World University of Design admission process.
The university offers a variety of programmes at both UG and PG levels. WUD is a perfect choice for candidates who are willing to pursue a career in a creative domain. Admission to the World University of Design programmes is based on both the candidate's academic merit and valid scores from the sentence examinations. For different courses separate entrance exams take place. The university admits students based on the entrance test results, it considers the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), Art Aptitude Test (AAT) and the General Aptitude Test (GAT), which is conducted by the university for WUD admissions.
Other than this, exam results from NIFT, NID, D-Art, CEED, and UCEED are accepted in place of the DAT, while test results from CET, CAT, MAT, and XAT are accepted in place of the GAT. JEE Main and NATA scores are considered for B.Arch course for the World University of Design admissions.

WUD offers assured placement and entrepreneurship assistance through partnerships with companies, industry networks, and incubator institutions. For instance, organisations like Future Group, Max, Reliance Retail, Fabindia, Pallavi Mohan, Shahi Exports and Namrata Joshipura, among others offered internships to fashion design students. In 2021, 75% of the positions were filled. There was a 100% placement rate for pre-placement offers for 2022, with Rs 24 LPA as the highest opened remuneration. By keeping in touch with the industry frequently and actively, the WUD placements are organised every year.

The World University of Design's beautiful, green campus, which spans 12 acres, is situated in the rapidly growing Rajiv Gandhi Education City on NH1 in Delhi-National Capital Region. Premier universities including the IIT Delhi, National Law University, Ashoka University, and NIFTEM are located nearby. Chandigarh is 3 hours away and the Delhi border is only 15 minutes away from The Education City. Jahangirpuri is currently the closest Delhi Metro station. It has already been stated that the Metro line would be extended to the education city. The villages close to the school are well linked, allowing for comfortable local life.
The World University of Design campus is well-equipped with contemporary infrastructure to make student life on campus comfortable and nurturing. The design university has a well-stocked library with physical and digital copies of books, journals, and publications from many fields. World University of Design also maintains an art gallery on campus that displays not just the work of its own students but also hosts curated art exhibits. In-campus, students may take use of the large, air-conditioned, wi-fi, semi-furnished hostel rooms with adjoining baths for ladies and boys. There are also student groups to help make campus life more interesting.

Hostel: The on-campus dormitories at World University of Design provide both ladies' and boys' rooms that are roomy, air-conditioned, wi-fi, and partially equipped. Hygienically prepared, wholesome, and delicious meals are provided. WiFi is available. Laundry services are offered separately. To meet the necessities of daily life, there is a tuck store. Additionally, there is a basic health care facility with a full-time nurse and a doctor on call available in the facilities.
Clubs: WUD recognises the value of cultural and social activities in strengthening personality, boosting communication skills, and developing a good, progressive global viewpoint. It strongly encourages its students to actively participate in various activity clubs such as Film Club, Reading Club, Sports Club, Performing Arts Club, and so on.
Library: WUD maintains a library that is well-stocked with hard copies and electronic editions of publications from all fields of study.
Material Museum: In order to provide the students a hands-on learning experience, the Material Museum has a collection of construction materials, including surfaces, fittings, plumbing, and more.
Workshops: The workshops are where concepts are given physical shape. World University of Design maintains high-level workshops to facilitate the work of each of the schools, with "learning by doing" being one of its key focuses. Students studying architecture and interior design will have CAD facilities and a model-making studio. The machine shop is fully operational and equipped with all necessary hand and power tools for aspiring product designers.
Labs: A Makers-Lab with the newest prototyping equipment is there. An Apple iMac Digital & Media Lab, Photo Studio, Print-Making Studio, Sound & Video Editing and AV Studio support the School of Communication. The studios are outfitted with technology and software that is considered industry standard, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Alias, Rhino, Auto CAD, Catia, etc.
Art Gallery: Additionally, WUD maintains an art gallery on campus where it exhibits student work as well as hosts curated art exhibitions.
World University of Design provides attractive on-admission scholarships that pay a portion of the academic price for the whole term of the programme in order to recognise such high prospective academic achievers.

Haryana Domicile Scholarships: According to the Haryana Private University Act of 2006's regulatory provisions, Sections 35 and 36, World University of Design scholarships include this award.
Educational Loan: For the purpose of offering educational loans to students who successfully gain admission to the institution, World University of Design has an exclusive partnership with Axis Bank and Credenc Web Technologies. The loan is disbursed in accordance with the terms and circumstances set out by Axis Bank and Credenc Web Technologies. Through a partnership with GreyQuest (GrayQuest Education Finance Pvt.
